I am pleased to let you know, that we will be running cricket training indoors at the Arena, for 10 weeks for girls and boys in school years 3 to 9.
School year 9 and above players will be able to attend Seniors Indoor Nets at Bishop Luffa on Saturdays, more details to follow.
Venue: Arena Sports Centre, Westloats Lane PO21 3JD
Day: Thursday
Time: Session 1: 5pm to 6pm, school years 3,4,5,6
Session 2: 6pm to 7pm, schools 6,7,8,9
Cost: £3 per player
Start date: 2nd February
End date: 6th April
Depending on numbers and abilities, there will be a mixture of skills based training and games with the 1st hour being softball/tennis ball and looking to gradually bring in hardball for the 2nd hour over the 10 weeks, so please bring all your kit.
For those without kit please come along and we can let you borrow some of the Club Kit or let you know what's needed.
Please can I ask for an indication whether your child may be attending some of the sessions, this is purely to enable us to provide the right number of Coaches.
We have chosen the Arena, for the location and to make it easier to get to, especially as we are looking for more players in the school years 4, 5 and 6
Please feel free to encourage any of your child's friends to come along and "have a go", those new to Pagham CC & cricket are entitled to have 2 free sessions.
Furthermore, for your information we will be running outdoor training at the Club on Fridays, starting on the 14th April, more details will be sent nearer the time.
